Thrifty Thrifter

Hello, My name is Mary, and I’m addicted to vintage.

It’s kind of a problem… and yet, it makes me so very happy.  Addicted to the thrill of the hunt, and then bringing it all home… Well, that’s just the icing on the cake.  Here are some of my treasures from the road.

This is the back of my car when I arrived home.  Side table – check.  Second, side table – check.  American Flag for my patriotic curb appeal – check.  And a whole lotta bagged up stuff.

I opted to keep everything bagged til I was safely Home Sweet Home.  The glass was protected, and it was like Christmas for me!  The scary truth to this is that my Mom used to do veeeery similar things with ebay back in the day, and I always thought she was completely nuts.  I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Among a few other pieces of wall art, I picked up this dashing pair for above each side of my nightstands.  Written on the back is “blue boy” on one and “pinkie” on the other.  Price: $5 each

I also picked up this darling, little timer that serves both functionally and fabulously.  Price: $2

Check out this awesome, little side table.  The middle rotates…  The funny thing is, I just bought a coffee table just like this!  In case all the brass is just TM, I also picked up another coffee table (more on that later) as I headed home.  Price: $12.99.

This side table combines 3 things I absolutely ADORE!  Price: $9.99

1. Octagon

2. Faux Bamboo

3. Brass

I like patterned rugs… A LOT.  I picked up this sapphire and gold one for $5.99.

There is a WHOLE bunch more, little items that I will soon share… Oh, and a possible clawfoot coffee table contender.  In the meantime, I need to get to decorating!

Are any of you addicted to thrift?
