Live Fabulous: Clean with Steam!

So, after being out of town last weekend, I FINALLY cleared out my storage unit and dumped its contents into my new home. Everything is everywhere, and I need to do some cleaning!! My microwave was a little dirty… ew! I don’t even use microwaves and never even owned one.

My Dad taught me a quick tip that I thought I’d try out this morning and share with all of you! It’s non-toxic, free, and works like a charm… Here goes!

1. Fill up a bowl with water. If I were to do this again, I would probably use a bigger bowl…

2. Transport veeeery carefully into the microwave. (The bigger bowl will help with the spill factor)

3. Put the water in the bowl for a good 3 minutes or so… Long enough to really get that steam going.

4. So, when that steam has filled up the microwave (another reason for the bigger bowl… more water = more steam), simply take a paper towel or rag and wipe. The food/dirt/grossness literally erases with no pressure at all.

5. And here is my Before and After! Very clean and sparkley… And I didn’t spend a dime or ingest harsh chemicals!
